About Catholic Underground
Catholic Underground is an apostolate that delves into the integration of the Catholic Faith with modern technology. Their mission is to bring the timeless teachings of the Catholic Faith to the digital sphere and make them accessible to all. Since the publication of the Conciliar Decree on Social Communications in 1963, the Church has emphasized the importance of utilizing various media platforms for evangelization.
Catholic Underground embraces this call by utilizing radio, television, and the internet to spread the Word of God. They believe that evangelization goes beyond the mere distribution of information, and encompasses a wide range of philosophies, ideas, and activities. Through their programs, Catholic Underground aims to bridge the gap between faith and technology in a way that is both relatable and unwavering.
Their on-air crew, led by host and executive producer Fr. Chris Decker, along with panelists Kathleen Lee, Olivia Gulino, and technical director Jeff Blackwell, brings insightful discussions to the audience. Additionally, other volunteers and contributors, such as Fr.
Ryan Humphries and Chris Williston, actively contribute to their mission. Catholic Underground invites everyone to join them on the digital continent, where they explore culture, faith, and the Still, Small Voice. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, all donations made to Catholic Underground are tax-deductible
