Catoctin Creek Distilling Company, founded by Becky and Scott Harris in 2009, is the first legal distillery in Loudoun County since before Prohibition. Located in Purcellville, Virginia, in the heart of the Loudoun Valley, Catoctin Creek is dedicated to upholding the rich tradition of American whiskey production. They are renowned for their highly acclaimed whisky, Roundstone Rye, which has received numerous awards and accolades.
The name Catoctin is derived from the Indian tribal name Kittocton, which means place of many deer. It represents the mountains and creek that surround the distillery. Catoctin Creek is committed to producing high-quality spirits, using locally sourced grains and fruit that are free from pesticides and chemical additives.
