About Catalysis Society of South Africa
The Catalysis Society of South Africa (CATSA) is a renowned organization dedicated to advancing catalysis in both academia and the chemical industry in South Africa. Founded in the late 70s and officially established in 1990, CATSA has become a prominent institution in promoting collaboration among local and international communities interested in all aspects of catalysis.
To foster unity and knowledge exchange, CATSA organizes an annual catalysis conference held at different venues each year. This conference serves as a platform for scientists and engineers, including young talents, to present their findings in the fields of homo- and heterogeneous catalysis. It also features a visiting eminent international researcher, fostering collaboration and inspiring future breakthroughs.
CATSA has deep appreciation for the support of its industrial partners, which enables the organization to expand its influence. As a registered nonprofit organization, CATSA is committed to its mission and welcomes contributions and suggestions to further strengthen the field of catalysis in South Africa.
