Cat skiing in Georgia

Cat Skiing Georgia offers guided backcountry skiing adventures in the remote mountain village of Bakhmaro, Georgia. Its trips are designed for skiers seeking deep powder, varied terrain and a wilderness experience away from large, developed resorts. Guests can choose a six-day cat-skiing trip, a three-day cat-skiing trip, or a combined package with three days of cat skiing and three days of ski touring. The area’s storm cycles and distinctive climate can produce snowpacks of up to five metres, with terrain ranging from sunny powder bowls to tree runs.

Safety and local expertise are central to the experience: the company’s guides are qualified members of the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations and the Georgian Mountain Guide Association. Trips also introduce visitors to Georgian hospitality and culture. After skiing, guests can relax at the lodge and enjoy its sauna, traditional food, wine and beer. Cat Skiing Georgia provides trip-planning information, accommodation details and cat-skiing rental services, and helps visitors discover the mountains and wider culture of Georgia.
