Catskill Mountain Canine

Catskill Mountain Canine is a professional dog training and pet care business based in Saugerties, New York, serving families throughout the Catskills and Hudson Valley, including Kingston and Woodstock. Its approach centers on clear communication, individualized care, and practical skills that help dogs and their handlers build trust and understanding. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all program, the business tailors its work to each dog’s personality, challenges, and household goals.

Training services include basic obedience, private lessons, board and train, day training, group classes, advanced obedience, trick training, and behavior modification for concerns such as reactivity, fear, and anxiety. The team also offers guidance for choosing a dog suited to a client’s lifestyle. Pet care options include private in-home boarding, overnight and day care for dogs and cats, house-sitting, drop-in visits, walks, and pet wedding attendant services. Catskill Mountain Canine emphasizes structured, hands-on care and safety, including cleaning protocols for its boarding and day care. Gift cards are available for its training packages.
