Cattery von der Sachsenwiege is a small Maine Coon hobby cattery near Meißen, Germany, run with affection and dedication since 2022. The breeder is a member of Katzenverein Leverkusen e.V. and raises cats in a green, spacious home with a large garden and outdoor enclosures, providing an environment intended to support a close-to-nature lifestyle. The household has also included dogs and a dwarf rabbit.
The cattery’s website introduces its Maine Coons and documents several litters, including kittens born to pairings involving Hades, Lilly, Blümchen, Amelie, and breeding male Eddie vom Zeitzgrund. Profiles and photo galleries let visitors follow the cats and litters over time. The breeder has decided to pause breeding for a while following difficult events. Blümchen and Amelie have been spayed and rehomed together in Leipzig. Fidelia, a black golden tabby ticked kitten, is also seeking a suitable home; the breeder notes that she enjoys children and active play. Cats are not placed as single pets. Prospective homes can contact the cattery to discuss its animals.
