Stichting Cavente Kinderdorp Vaassen is a Dutch foundation that organizes an annual children’s village to help families celebrate the end of the summer holidays. Held at the Ireneveld in Vaassen, the event transforms the site into a lively, imaginative world where children can enjoy activities with friends and greater independence from their parents. The four-day programme is designed for children aged 4 to 12 and includes building huts, sports and games, crafts, creative activities, and special daily surprises. Some editions have also featured activities such as dismantling a car, music, dancing, and themed entertainment.

Cavente provides practical information about its daily programme, ticket sales and tokens, food and drink, results, and a raffle. The foundation also shares news, photographs, videos, songs, colouring pages, and other materials connected with the event. Its work is supported by volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community partners. To help ensure that children can take part regardless of family finances, Cavente works with Stichting Leergeld, which may provide support to eligible parents.
