About CAWEE
The Center for Accelerated Women’s Economic Empowerment (CAWEE) is a pioneering trade promotion organization in Ethiopia, established in 2004. Focused on supporting women exporters in Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), CAWEE offers various services like international trade training, business development, market linkages, finance access, research, and advocacy forums. Their vision is to create a globally competitive core of women entrepreneurs in Ethiopia, while their mission includes promoting, capacitating, and linking women entrepreneurs with international markets.
CAWEE also conducts actionable research to address challenges faced by women entrepreneurs.
