About CB1100F
Honda’s CB750F, CB900F and CB1100F SuperSport motorcycles are a landmark family of high-performance road bikes, recognized for powerful four-cylinder engines and advances in handling and chassis design. Introduced in 1979, the CB750F featured a 748cc engine with dual overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder and 72 horsepower. The CB900F followed in North America in 1981, pairing a 902cc, 84-horsepower engine with a stiffer frame, larger forks and adjustable shocks.
The series culminated in the CB1100F, offered for one year in the United States, with a 1062cc engine producing 108 horsepower, TRAC anti-dive forks and a boxed swingarm. The CB900F also provided a platform for Honda’s Superbike racing efforts. Together, these models helped shape the development of sport motorcycles and remain a focus for enthusiasts.
