About CBF
The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF) is a global Christian community that brings churches and individuals together to answer a shared call to ministry. Guided by the love of Christ, it works to spread good news, justice and hope through missions, congregational support, advocacy and practical resources. CBF invites people into community, equips them for ministry and seeks to help transform the world.
Its programs include global missions and field personnel, short-term service, disaster response, chaplaincy and pastoral counseling, and support for thriving congregations. The Fellowship also offers young adult programs, theological education scholarships, discernment groups, ministry networks, grants, peer learning and clergy support. Advocacy initiatives address issues including immigration, voting, predatory lending and racial justice, alongside networks serving Latino and Black communities and women in ministry.
CBF reports work in 30 countries, service to more than 94,000 people globally, over 1,200 endorsed chaplains and pastoral counselors, and 34,000 volunteer hours. Its network includes more than 1,800 congregations.
