Caritas Children’s Hospital, established in 1953 by Swiss priest Ernst Schneider in Bethlehem, is dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to children. Since 1963, the hospital has been operated by the Bethlehem Child Relief Foundation, a Swiss NGO committed to improving the health of Palestinian children.

The hospital offers a wide range of services, including outpatient clinics, emergency care, specialty clinics, and inpatient services tailored for different age groups, from newborns to pediatric patients. Among its specialized departments are the Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Neurology, and Pulmonology Clinic, which provide comprehensive assessments and treatments for a variety of health conditions. Additional support services include social work, nutrition, pharmacy, and physical therapy, ensuring holistic care for its young patients and their families.
