Collegiate Behavioral Health Associates (CBHA) is a brand that is dedicated to the mental well-being of student-athletes. They understand that most screenings fail to consider the important factors of follow-up and consistency, which can result in incomplete information. CBHA aims to rectify these issues by providing a consistent and effective plan to ensure the mental well-being of all student-athletes.

The process begins with CBHA requesting a copy of every student-athlete's contact and insurance information. Once this information is received, CBHA conducts a mental health assessment focusing on suicide, depression, anxiety, and alcohol use. A licensed clinical social worker then performs a 1-on-1 clinical assessment and provides recommendations for follow-up and treatment if necessary.

Student-athletes will receive self-report questionnaires every 90 days and follow-up sessions will be scheduled 2 to 4 times per year to monitor their mental health. CBHA prioritizes confidentiality and adheres to the highest standards of professional ethics. However, in rare cases where a student-athlete poses a risk of harm to themselves or others, confidential information may be shared with other medical professionals to ensure their safety.
