Cypress Basin Master Gardeners Association (CBMGA) is an educational and volunteer program offered through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, part of the Texas A&M University System. Serving Titus, Franklin, Camp, Morris, and nearby counties, the association helps make practical horticultural knowledge available to local communities. Its website features information on general gardening and plant care, illustrated profiles of plants in its demonstration gardens, a virtual garden tour, monthly gardening tips, activity calendars, photographs, and links to horticultural resources.

Topics include vegetables, herbs, insects and butterflies, water conservation, rainwater harvesting, soil testing, and plant disease diagnosis. CBMGA also provides free gardening advice to county residents. People interested in becoming Master Gardeners can take a 10-week training program, then share what they learn through community volunteer work.

Certified volunteers are asked to contribute 25 service hours annually and complete 10 hours of continuing education each year. Open to people of all ages and backgrounds, the program offers learning and service opportunities for both experienced gardeners and those seeking reliable, up-to-date plant information
