Ytmp3 is an online media search and conversion service that helps users find recordings and access available download options from YouTube links. Users can search by song title and artist or paste a standard, shortened, or embedded YouTube link. The site also features trending titles, which start a search rather than selecting a specific recording; users are encouraged to check the artist, title, and version before proceeding.

Depending on the source and conversion provider, Ytmp3 offers options for downloading audio or video, including dedicated YouTube to MP3 and YouTube to MP4 pages. The service explains how to choose an output and complete the download through the browser, and manual link entry is available without clipboard permission. Its FAQ and blog provide practical guidance on identifying the intended recording, locating downloaded files, and understanding the difference between a prepared conversion and a completed transfer. Ytmp3 advises users to download material they own or are permitted to use and to follow the source platform’s rules.
