The Cuerpo de Bomberos de Santiago (CBS) is a volunteer fire and emergency-response organization serving Santiago, Chile. With 22 companies and more than 2,600 volunteer firefighters, it responds to over 10,000 emergencies each year. Its work includes firefighting, vehicle and technical rescue, hazardous-material incidents, prehospital support, and search, rescue, and evacuation in remote or difficult-to-access areas.
