Calvary Chapel of Delta, located in Delta PA, is a brand that has its roots in the 1960s when Pastor Chuck Smith took over a small flock of people in southern California. Known for his simple and straightforward exposition of the Bible, Pastor Chuck's teaching ministry was accompanied by uplifting worship music, resulting in numerous individuals coming to faith in Jesus Christ. With a genuine concern for the lost, Pastor Chuck opened his heart and home to a generation of hippies and surfers, igniting a movement of the Holy Spirit that spread from the West Coast to the East Coast and beyond.
Today, the impact of Calvary Chapel can be seen worldwide, with over 1,600 associated ministries under the Calvary Chapel Association. Calvary Chapel of Delta was established in 1996 as a Sunday night home Bible study.
