CCES, the Centro de Competências para a Economia Social, is a professional training centre in Portugal dedicated to strengthening the social economy. It equips people working in socially impactful organisations with practical skills and knowledge, supporting excellence, innovation and better outcomes for the communities they serve. The course portfolio covers care for older people, direct social intervention, leadership and management, and community work. CCES also offers an online course for informal caregivers of older people, designed to develop essential skills for safe, effective and compassionate care.
Alongside its courses, CCES provides a Moodle training platform, shares training resources and news, and works with social economy organisations, public and private entities, and higher education institutions.
