The Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association (CMFCAA) is dedicated to supporting kinship, foster, and adoptive families in Central Missouri. Founded in 2007, CMFCAA provides essential services, advocacy, and education to ensure that vulnerable children find loving homes. With a strong commitment to community engagement, CMFCAA offers free resources, including family development training, respite events, and programs such as 30 Days to Family® and Extreme Recruitment® aimed at securing stable placements for children.

Through its array of services, CMFCAA supports over 640 foster families and 1,400 foster children across a 24-county area. Their mission emphasizes child-centered practices, advocating for children's rights, and fostering sustainable family relationships. By partnering with local agencies and organizations, CMFCAA strives to improve outcomes for children in foster care, aiming to break the cycles of abuse and neglect. The association invites community members to get involved, whether by becoming foster parents, volunteers, or supporters, as they continue their vital work for families in need.
