About California Collaborative for Immigrant Justice
California Collaborative for Immigrant Justice (CCIJ) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting for the rights and liberation of immigrants in detention in California. As an independent 501(c)(3) organization since January 1, 2022, CCIJ utilizes coordination, advocacy, and legal services to challenge the incarceration and family separation of immigrants. With a vision of a world where nobody is subject to incarceration or family separation, CCIJ goes beyond traditional legal services to empower detained immigrants and their communities.
They believe in the power of community-legal partnerships and the building of impacted communities to bring about systemic change. CCIJ's logo, designed by artist and substance abuse counselor Enrique, reflects their mission and values.
