Catholic Charities Maine is a faith-based, non-profit organization that has been dedicated to serving the poor and vulnerable populations of Maine since 1966. With a mission to provide help and create hope, they offer a wide range of services and programs throughout the state. From food banks in Aroostook to child care in York County, their network of over 600 professionals and 500+ volunteers worked tirelessly last year, helping more than 50,000 of our neediest neighbors.

With a commitment to doing more with less, Catholic Charities Maine replaces despair with hope and answers want with generosity. Through their affiliation with the United Way organizations in Maine and Catholic Charities USA, they are able to identify community concerns and provide programs and services to address the needs of the communities they serve. Rooted in the Catholic tradition, their programs serve as the social service affiliation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland.

Catholic Charities Maine is driven by compassion and dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those they serve
