Concepts for Community Programmes (CCP) is a national non-profit humanitarian and development organization founded in 2011. Working with rural and urban communities across Somalia, CCP supports people affected by poverty, conflict and disasters, combining emergency assistance with long-term community-led development. Its mission is to save and improve lives, provide basic services, and strengthen and empower communities. The organization emphasizes family and child-focused work, community participation and sustainable, integrated programmes, guided by accountability, transparency and respect for human and child rights.

CCP’s programmes cover food security, nutrition and livelihoods, including agricultural and livestock training, vaccination and treatment. It also works in water, sanitation and hygiene, education, gender and protection, peacebuilding, disaster response and durable solutions. Activities include supporting access to education for girls and marginalized youth, raising awareness about gender-based violence, and engaging young people in peacebuilding. CCP also promotes waste management and recycling, and operates a self-help group revolving fund intended to improve women’s sustained access to financial services in internally displaced and host communities.
