The Cyprus Computer Society (CCS) is a professional, scientific, and independent nonprofit organization founded in 1984. Their mission is to develop, upgrade, and promote the field of information technology in Cyprus. CCS aims to establish high standards among industry professionals, recognizing the impact of IT on employment, businesses, society, and citizens' quality of life. By bridging academia with the professional sector, the Society advocates for key industry issues, particularly in digital literacy, professional skills, education, training, and research.

As a leading advocate for Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), CCS represents its members' views to national authorities on strategic IT matters and engages in European and international projects, fostering collaborations with academic, governmental, public, private, and non-governmental entities. With over 1000 members, including IT professionals and students, CCS endeavors to benefit various individuals and groups through activities promoting digital development in Cyprus. Their vision is to be the premier association advancing the Information Society and Knowledge in Cyprus, preserving and enhancing the IT profession for the benefit of society and its members.
