About CC
CCSMH, the Canadian Coalition for Seniors' Mental Health, is dedicated to promoting the mental health of seniors by bringing together people, ideas, and resources. This non-profit organization focuses on ensuring that seniors' mental health is recognized as a significant health and wellness issue in Canada. They firmly believe that mental illness should not be considered a normal part of aging and that all seniors have the right to receive services and care that support their mental health needs.
CCSMH offers a wide range of resources and initiatives to address various areas of focus, including anxiety, depression, dementia, delirium, substance use, social isolation, and more. They provide educational modules, toolkits, professional conferences, and information for older adults, caregivers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers.
