Ccsoroptimist

Soroptimist International of Clark County (SICC) is a volunteer organization dedicated to helping women and girls access the education and training they need for economic empowerment. Chartered in 1948, the club is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas and a wider global network founded in Oakland, California, in 1921. Soroptimist International includes more than 100,000 women members across 120 countries.

SICC offers educational awards, including the Live Your Dream and Achieve Your Dream awards, to support women and girls pursuing their goals. The club also organizes estate sales, its main fundraiser for these awards, and holds other fundraising events and group service projects. Members can volunteer, mentor women and girls, support fundraising, build friendships, and take part according to their availability. The organization welcomes people who want to contribute to education, professional opportunity, women’s rights, and economic empowerment. Donations help support its work, while membership offers a way to participate in local service and connect with others committed to helping women and girls shape their futures.
