CDGLombardia

Coordinamento Diabete Giovani Lombardia ODV is an independent, non-political volunteer organization based in Monza, Italy. It brings together organizations supporting children and young people with diabetes across Lombardy and represents its member organizations in discussions with healthcare institutions and other stakeholders involved in diabetes care. Its nonprofit work focuses on civic and social benefit, with particular attention to the interests and rights of young people with diabetes and their families.

The organization promotes the protection of those rights and gathers and assesses concerns about gaps in medical assistance, as well as the welcome and support available in schools and wider society. It encourages the exchange of local experience and maintains contacts with regional, national, and international associations to foster collaboration and share updates that may improve diabetes care and prevent complications. The Coordinamento also develops shared proposals to improve existing rules and participates in research projects, technical and scientific panels, and working groups on diabetes and related conditions organized by public or private institutions.
