About CDP Foundation
CDP Foundation, also known as the Center for Disaster Preparedness (CDP), has been a leading resource center in community-based climate and disaster risk reduction and management (CB CDRRM) since 1997. It is recognized not only in the Philippines but also in the Asia-Pacific Region for its expertise in the field. CDP works closely with non-government organizations, people's organizations, communities, and government agencies to enhance their capacities in disaster prevention and mitigation, emergency response, rehabilitation, and recovery.
Their goal is to promote safe, resilient, and developed communities in the Philippines. Through their capacity development programs and projects, CDP aims to instill a culture of safety and disaster preparedness.
