CDSCCVN

Centro Desportivo, Social e Cultural do Cercal (CDSCCVN) is a Portuguese Private Institution of Social Solidarity based in Cercal, Ourém. Serving the local population since 1979, it grew from a recreational and sports association into a community organisation supporting people at different stages of life. Its mission is to promote well-being and quality of life, combining personal care with a strong commitment to local participation and mutual support.

For older adults, CDSCCVN provides a Day Centre offering social interaction, activities and ongoing support, as well as a home-care service that brings assistance to people in their own homes. For young children, its nursery and creche offer a safe, caring environment, while its CATL and AAAF programmes provide study support and leisure activities alongside school. The organisation also promotes sport and physical activity, reflecting its sporting roots, and hosts cultural events, performances and music that help keep local traditions alive. Through its services and activities, CDSCCVN fosters connections across generations and contributes to community life in Cercal and the wider Ourém area.
