The Center for Research of the Liberation Movement (ЦДВР) is an independent scientific and public organization dedicated to exploring various aspects of the Ukrainian liberation movement in the 20th century. Focusing on national memory politics and the aftermath of totalitarianism across the former USSR and Central-Eastern Europe, ЦДВР collaborates with historians both nationally and internationally.

ЦДВР engages in several key activities: it manages a unique archive documenting the operations of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), along with audio and video testimonies. Its specialized library boasts extensive literature on Ukrainian history, particularly surrounding OUN and UPA themes. Furthermore, the center offers expert consultations on issues pertaining to the liberation movement, publishes historical research as part of its own periodical, "Ukrainian Liberation Movement," and develops programs to promote awareness of Ukraine's liberation struggle. Through these initiatives, ЦДВР plays a crucial role in preserving and disseminating Ukraine's rich historical narratives.
