CE Industries is owned by Jaroslav Strnad, a Czech entrepreneur and the founder of Czechoslovak Group (CSG) and CE Industries (CEI).

Starting in the 1990s, he built CSG, an industrial holding comprising significant Czech and Slovak companies in the automotive, aviation, defense, and railway industries. One of the key milestones was the successful revitalization of the famous Czech automobile manufacturer, Tatra, in 2013. In 2018, he transferred ownership of CSG to his son and began building CE Industries from scratch.

Under the leadership of Jaroslav Strnad, CE Industries is expanding its presence in the Balkans, acquiring leading Croatian companies such as Duro Dakovic. As an active owner, Strnad drives the company's strategy, key transactions, investments, and acquisitions, working closely with the management team to build a pan-European group focused on industries related to industrial ecologization
