About Centro de Estatística e Aplicações da UL
Welcome to the Centro de Estatística e Aplicações (Center for Statistics and Applications) at UL - founded in 1975, it was the birthplace of research in Probability and Statistics in Portugal. As the largest and most active research group in this field, CEAUL is well positioned to contribute to various aspects of Statistical Sciences. The center's mission is to advance and promote the proper use of Statistics in Portugal through interconnected activities.
CEAUL is funded through PFP (R&D) within the framework of the projects UIDB/00006/2020 and UIDP/00006/2020. The center also focuses on outreach efforts to disseminate its research and findings.
