HouseBot is a home control software solution from CeBotics LLC, designed to bring different types of home automation equipment together in one system. The Windows application provides control and status monitoring for connected devices and can work with a variety of automation protocols, supporting a flexible, heterogeneous setup. HouseBot can also be expanded to accommodate new devices and custom hardware as a user’s needs change.

To make system control accessible beyond the automation server, HouseBot offers customizable graphic interfaces called Software Remotes. These can run on remote and mobile devices, allowing users to interact with their home control setup through tailored screens. The site also highlights voice control and an Android remote.

HouseBot is positioned as an alternative for people seeking a quality home control system without the high prices and dealer installation and configuration costs associated with high-end systems. A free 30-day trial is available, along with software downloads and feature information.
