CECACIER is a non-governmental and non-profit organization based in San José, Costa Rica. Founded in 2009, CECACIER brings together companies and organizations from the energy sector in Central America and the Caribbean. As a member of the Regional Energy Integration Commission (CIER), CECACIER aims to promote sector integration and services, making its members active participants in the CIER.

With a mission to connect the energy sector and related industries, CECACIER strives to foster regional integration by creating the largest network of contacts, enabling the connection of needs with opportunities and best practices. They offer a wide range of products and services, including distance training in the CIER Capacitaciones a distancia program, knowledge sharing through the HUB del Conocimiento, and regional studies in collaboration with Asociados Productos Geotermia Núcleo Sectorial. CECACIER also organizes webinars, events, and provides digitalization services through their partnership with GIZ.
