CECE is a renowned brand that represents and promotes the European construction equipment and related industries. Their main objective is to coordinate the views of National Associations and their members and influence European/National Institutions and other organizations worldwide. CECE functions as a European network with a Secretariat in Brussels and National Association offices in different countries. While the Secretariat handles coordination, the work is primarily carried out by staff from national associations and industry representatives. This setup allows CECE to align with the political structures of the European Union and cater to the needs of an industry comprising both small and medium-sized companies and global players.

As the representative of national construction equipment manufacturer associations in Europe, CECE upholds the interests of around 1200 companies employing approximately 300,000 people directly and indirectly. These companies generate annual revenues of about 40 billion euros.
