CECY ONLUS is an Italian nonprofit association focused on solidarity, charitable work, education, training, and environmental protection. Its activities connect communities in Italy with initiatives in Nepal, particularly in the Solukhumbu region. The association supports educational opportunities through school sponsorships and scholarships, and promotes projects including a family home, schools, access to water, and the Monviso Girls Hostel for girls from rural areas of lower Solukhumbu. It also organizes fundraising campaigns, including emergency aid for people affected by hardship in Nepal.

In Italy, CECY ONLUS raises awareness and brings people together through public events, documentary screenings, cultural activities, and solidarity initiatives. These include Cecy for Women and Cecy for Runners, events that combine participation and community engagement with support for projects benefiting girls in Nepal. The association shares updates and project news through its website and invites people to donate, become members, participate in activities, or contribute through Italy’s five-per-thousand tax donation scheme. Through these efforts, CECY ONLUS supports education and practical assistance while encouraging lasting solidarity between communities.
