Cedar Allied Health provides child and adolescent psychology services for families across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, with telehealth available. The practice supports young children through to adolescents and welcomes families without a referral. Its services include psychological support and assessments, with care tailored to each child’s developmental stage and individual needs.

Assessment services cover ADHD, autism, and cognitive and educational needs, helping families understand a child’s attention, strengths, learning, and school engagement. Therapeutic support is available for behaviour and emotional regulation, anxiety and depression, and school refusal. Cedar also offers parent counselling, providing a collaborative, judgement-free space and practical strategies for navigating family challenges.

The team works with families to identify whether assessment, therapy, or both may be a suitable starting point, and explains clear next steps. Parent involvement is an important part of care, with the level of participation adapted to the child and service. Assessments follow an evidence-based process, and families receive guidance on findings and support options.
