Cedar Valley Officials LLC coordinates officiating for youth sports in the Cedar Valley area. The organization schedules officials for USSSA baseball, USSSA softball, and youth basketball, helping leagues and tournaments meet their referee and umpire needs. It also recruits people interested in working as youth sports officials, including former athletes who want to stay involved in the game and those seeking part-time work.
Cedar Valley Officials supports both new and experienced officials with ongoing education. It holds multiple clinics before each season to help prepare its team for assignments. The website also shares 2026 game rates for TBT Sports/Triple Bagger Baseball Tournaments and USSSA baseball, with rates varying by age group, game length, and officiating position.
People interested in becoming an official can submit an application and resume through the website. For questions about getting started, Cedar Valley Officials lists Jim Thompson as a contact by phone or email. The organization presents officiating as a way to contribute to local youth sports while earning extra income.
