About CEDI Ghana
CEDI Ghana is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to fighting poverty and youth unemployment in Ghana. They offer a range of services aimed at creating jobs and improving livelihoods, including free entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and funding opportunities. Founded by university lecturers and government officials, CEDI Ghana collaborates with various stakeholders to encourage entrepreneurship and job creation.
In addition to addressing unemployment, CEDI Ghana also focuses on promoting peace, security, human rights, and overall social and economic development. Their activities are funded through member contributions, donor support, and government grants. Their impactful work has garnered recognition, including winning the 2017 Africa Youth Award Social Enterprise of the Year.
