About CEFOREP
Ceforep is the technical execution body of the Senegalese Association for Reproductive Health (ASSR). It operates under the authority of a Board of Directors. Ceforep's vision is to be a reference institution of excellence in Africa in the areas of training, research, monitoring/evaluation, and advocacy for reproductive health.
Established in 1996 with the support of the Senegalese Government and USAID through the Family Health and AIDS Prevention Project (SFPS), Ceforep is a regional institution. It offers various services in the field of reproductive health. Ceforep focuses on capacity building for healthcare professionals at all levels of the healthcare system.
With over 20 years of experience, Ceforep conducts quantitative and qualitative research, specifically in the area of operational research. It also engages in advocacy activities, particularly in promoting maternal and neonatal health. To support training and research activities, Ceforep has established a specialized Information and Documentation Center (CID) dedicated to reproductive health.
