About CEIAS: Central European Institute of Asian Studies
CEIAS, the Central European Institute of Asian Studies, is a renowned transnational think tank based in Bratislava, Slovakia, with a wide regional presence in Czechia, Austria, Poland, Hungary, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Canada, and beyond. Our primary mission is to promote knowledge about Asia among scholars, experts, and professionals in Central Europe and beyond, while also raising awareness about Central European engagement with Asia on a global scale. To achieve our objectives, we conduct and publish our own cutting-edge research, organize public seminars and conferences, support education on relevant Asian topics, and engage with the media.
Our focus areas primarily revolve around international relations and security studies across East, Southeast, South, and Central Asia. Collaborating with like-minded organizations and individuals in the region and beyond, CEIAS is dedicated to achieving our goals.
