Celf

Celf Nigeria, formally known as the Countryside Emerging Leaders Fellowship (CELF), is an initiative spearheaded by the Haashim Initiative for Community Advancement (HICA) aimed at fostering leadership among youth in Kwara State. Launched in September 2020, CELF focuses on empowering emerging leaders through comprehensive training and networking opportunities. The program has successfully hosted two editions, with the inaugural fellowship welcoming 34 participants from all 16 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Kwara State in December 2020.

CELF actively collaborates with various stakeholders, including private and public sector partners, to provide scholarships and mentorship. In recognition of exceptional talent, scholarship opportunities have been awarded to outstanding fellows, making the initiative a catalyst for social progress. With ambitions to expand in 2022, CELF is committed to increasing fellowship cohorts, enhancing scholarship programs, and engaging more partners to support the next generation of leaders. Through its strategic efforts, Celf Nigeria aims to create a lasting impact on community development and leadership in the region.
