Cellar Door Wines is an independent wine merchant that was established in 2004 by brothers Miles and Peter Lilliott. With a background in boutique wine making and viticulture in Hunter Valley, Australia, they set out to bring great quality, affordable wine from around the world to their customers. They pride themselves on offering friendly and unpretentious advice and service to both trade and retail customers.

Over the years, Cellar Door Wines has been recognized for their excellence in the industry and was named Independent Wine Retailer of the Year in 2008. However, they faced a tragedy in 2011 when Miles passed away suddenly. Peter continued to run the shop and in 2017, he brought on Penny Edwards, a local wine expert with extensive retail experience.

Together, they have built a new brand for Cellar Door Wines, expanding their range of wines and spirits and introducing locally sourced delicatessen products. They have created a wine lover's paradise, complete with a tasting area and enomatic wine dispensing machines. The shop is organized by wine styles, encouraging customers to explore and discover new flavors.

Penny travels regularly to source wines from smaller, family-owned producers for their bespoke wine club cases. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cellar Door Wines has adapted by improving their website and expanding their local and national delivery capabilities. They now offer virtual wine tastings and continue to innovate in the ever-evolving world of wine.
