Cell Chip Group is dedicated to developing cutting-edge microfluidic concepts and lab-on-a-chip systems for various life sciences applications. Our primary focus is on advancing precision medicine, ensuring quality control of biopharmaceutical products, and reducing the need for animal testing. Through a collaborative and multidisciplinary research strategy, we aim to bridge the gap between research and product development in the fields of microfluidics, lab-on-a-chip systems, and organ-on-a-chip technology.

We specialize in designing, fabricating, and testing advanced organ-on-a-chip technologies, next-generation microfluidic devices for cell analysis, and miniaturized biosensing platforms. Our research group leverages sophisticated engineering to integrate optical and electrical microsensors, miniaturized fluid handling systems, and electronic components. Additionally, we offer continuous education and training opportunities through various programs and workshops. Our state-of-the-art Microfluidic HUB in the Vienna University of Technology utilizes a variety of technologies, such as soft lithography and 3D printing, for rapid prototyping of biochips.
