Celtis

Celtis is a small German technology manufacturer based in Denklingen, Bavaria, developing and assembling practical electronic products for chicken keepers, sports clubs and smart-home users. Its devices are programmed and personally tested, with a focus on reliable function, thoughtful design and direct customer support. The company’s story began with a home chicken coop that lacked mains electricity and needed lighting that followed the seasons, inspiring Celtis to develop its own solutions.

For poultry keeping, Celtis offers ChickenControl, an all-in-one 12-volt unit for managing lighting, coop doors, ventilation and heating. ChickenLight PV provides off-grid, solar-powered lighting with a battery, LED and solar panel, while ChickenLight 12 controls and dims a compatible lamp using an existing 12-volt supply. These lighting systems can extend the day according to local sunrise and sunset times. Beyond the coop, RunnersGate SA provides portable light-barrier timing for sports, and the IR reader offers optical access to digital electricity meters via USB, either ready-made or as a kit.
