CEMA is the voice of the European Agricultural Machinery Industry, representing both multinational companies and European SMEs in the sector. With 11 national member associations, CEMA comprises approximately 7,000 manufacturers that produce over 450 different types of machines. This dynamic industry has an annual turnover of around €40 billion (EU28 - 2016) and employs around 150,000 direct employees.

CEMA offers a wide range of machines that cater to every aspect of farming, from seeding to harvesting, as well as livestock management equipment. Their mission is to bring shared expertise and shape EU legislation for the benefit of sustainable farming and the agricultural machinery and solutions sector. CEMA's structure includes a General Assembly, which elects a Board of Directors responsible for overseeing and controlling the association's work.

They have various working groups, such as the Strategic Committee, Economic Expert Group, Product Groups, and Technical Board, that address specific technical and regulatory issues. The day-to-day operations and collaborations with other organizations are managed by the CEMA Secretariat.
