Cenia New York is a fabulous and innovative brand created by Cenia Paredes, who grew up in the Dominican Republic in a family dedicated to dressmaking. From a young age, she honed her skills by assisting her mother in choosing fabrics, participating in fittings, and sketching designs. After immigrating to the USA, Cenia graduated with top honors from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2004 and worked for renowned brands in New York's fashion district.

However, her ultimate dream was to design her own line. In 2009, she launched Cenia New York®, a ready-to-wear collection of day-to-evening dresses. What sets Cenia apart is her revolutionary fit concept, offering four unique fits that cater to various female body types.

She is the first designer in fashion history to implement this concept and bring it to a major US department store. Cenia specializes in dressing women who embrace their curves, radiating tasteful sensuality and confidence regardless of their size or shape. She has expanded her distribution globally, including a highly successful denim line called Cenia Convi Jean.
