About Censor.NET
"Censor.NET" is a Ukrainian news socio-political Internet portal with a popular forum, founded by journalist Yuriy Butusov in 2004. The portal occupies one of the leading places among the Internet media in Ukraine.
The editor-in-chief is Yuriy Butusov . The publication positions itself as a website of “emotional news”. The slogan of the website is the phrase of the editor-in-chief: “Censor.NET is popular politics with comments from the electorate”. The materials on the website are published in Ukrainian and Russian, some of them are translated into English, and commentators on the forum use both Russian and Ukrainian.
In March 2015, Censor.NET was recognized as the best online media of the year according to the nationwide program "Person of the Year". The corresponding award was received at the "Ukraine" Palace at the solemn ceremony of presenting the "Person of the Year 2014" award to Yuriy Butusov, the editor-in-chief of Censor.NET.
In 2020, Censor.NET was recognized as well-known , as evidenced by the decision of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
