Welcome to Centaur Riding School, a beloved family operation located in Navan, Ontario. Founded in 1973 by Claire and Jean-Louis Guertin, the school is now owned and operated by Shirley Guertin and her daughter Danika Guertin-Pierson. With a rich history spanning over 49 years, Centaur has become a renowned equestrian facility and a hub for riders of all ages and skill levels.

At Centaur, we offer a wide range of products and services to cater to our riders' needs. Our services include horseback riding lessons, day camps, boarding, training, homeopathy, pony parties, horse shows, and various events. Whether you are a novice rider or an experienced equestrian, our team of knowledgeable coaches and skilled horses are here to guide and support you.

Our school has been a breeding ground for lifelong equestrian passions, with thousands of individuals having been introduced to horses through Centaur. Many former students have gone on to achieve success within the riding community, starting their own riding schools, competing at prestigious events, or simply enjoying their own horses. Throughout the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, Centaur has persevered with the help of our generous community.
