CTC

The Association of Centenary Tennis Clubs (CTC) is an international umbrella organization for tennis clubs with histories spanning at least 100 years. Founded by eight European clubs, it has grown into a global network recognized by the International Tennis Federation. In 2026, the association comprises 98 affiliated clubs across 29 countries and four continents, bringing together institutions with longstanding sporting and social roles in their communities.

CTC works to preserve tennis traditions and promote the sport’s spirit of fair play. It supports its member clubs by organizing competitions, sporting and cultural events, workshops, and seminars. The association also encourages the development of young players through junior events and competitions, alongside tournaments for other age groups. CTC also participates in initiatives addressing wider challenges in tennis. Its Green Tennis project, developed with eight partner organizations through a three-year Erasmus+ scheme, aims to reduce the sport’s environmental impact by promoting sustainable practices across the tennis ecosystem.
