Centennial Glen Stables offers horse riding experiences in the scenic Kanimbla Valley of New South Wales’ Blue Mountains, around a 25–30-minute drive from Blackheath. Set among views of the Blue Mountains escarpment, the stables keep riding groups small and are accredited, along with the site, by Horse Safety Australia. Experienced guides lead rides on calm, well-trained horses, with opportunities to trot or canter when appropriate and safe.
Experiences include trail rides from 30 minutes to two hours, private rides by arrangement, sunset rides, and pony-and-lead rides for children aged four and over. Riders aged eight and up can also book introductory lessons, with an option to follow a lesson with a one-on-one trail ride. A full-day horsemanship experience includes practical horse-care activities and three hours of riding, and is suited to people with some prior horse-handling or riding experience. Carriage driving is also listed among the stables’ offerings. Centennial Glen Stables provides a welcoming setting for visitors seeking guided riding, lessons, or hands-on time with horses.
