About Center for Children
San Diego Center for Children is a trusted and respected brand, providing essential behavioral health programs for children and their families in San Diego County. With over 130 years of experience, they are the oldest children's nonprofit in the region. The Center offers a wide range of services to support children struggling with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
This includes outpatient services at their Family Wellness Center, intensive in-home care through their Wraparound program, accredited special education and therapy through their School-Based program, and intensive therapeutic support in their Residential Treatment facility. They also provide specialized services for foster youth through their FFAST Therapeutic Foster Care program, and support for transitioning youth through their Successful Transitions initiative. Amid the COVID-19 crisis, the Center has adapted and expanded its programs to better serve the community.
